Founded by Danel Zharmenova, the studio approaches every project through the same lens, whether residential or commercial. Art is not an accent but part of the DNA. References drawn from culture, material, and memory shape spaces that feel lived in rather than designed, and that stay with you long after you leave.

 

With roots in Kazakhstan and an education in Switzerland, Danel brings a global perspective shaped by studies in Business Administration, Interior Design, and Graphic Design. Before establishing her own practice, she contributed to hospitality, retail, and residential projects at leading firms, with work featured in Interior Design, Hospitality Design, Dezeen, and Luxe Magazine.

Based in Houston, Studio Danel works across high-end residential, hospitality, and retail interiors, with an expanded practice in creative direction, art curation, and collectible design. Each project is treated as a complete whole, considered, personal, and quietly distinctive.​
